I read earlier that the government are about to do a u-turn on disability cuts, which when the shit hits the fan, is likely the real reason IDS has resigned.

He's the sole reason the DWP is as it is - anybody without work is a malingerer. The man who set up ATOS health interrogations. The man who cheered in parliament when benefits were cut for the masses. The man who said "work is good for you". Oh yeah, we'll see those amputees limbs growing back in no time at all once you get them grafting. The man who spends £39 on his breakfast then claims it on expenses. The man who puts in an expenses claim for £144 for "wipes". It goes on.

Whatever your situation, the only thing that'd make me happier than this news, is if the fucker got his nuts caught in a bear trap.

I would have liked to have become a politician but I don't know how to talk bullshit. That's simply how IDS earned his millions, by sitting on his arse all day whist talking shit.

Call me a cynic, but I don't believe for a minute IDS has a conscience.

I smell a leadership challenge

I imagine it's more a case of....
"There's going to be such a backlash.. And I'm at the heart of it. I'm going to get death threats and everything! ... Fuck this, I'm off!"

If some group were to turn out the bank accounts of most of the politicians over the years they will discover exactly why this country is in so much debt. Never mind skimming off the top, those greedy cunts have been propping up the top and draining everything else that's beneath.
---
And the reason why they wanted to cut benefits is to stop grumpy old gits like us coming out with the truth, they are trying to kill us all off.

IDS no longer stands for Iain Duncan-Smith, it now stands for Idiotic Donkey Scrote.

MY opinion on the budget in general...
People who earn a lot don't need tax breaks, the tax breaks for the low earners should be ramped up slowly until those on a reasonable wage are paying full tax, not just a sudden no tax to full tax jump, which puts people off working more house because they'd be worse off for doing so. e.g. I pay almost no tax because I'm a low earner, but if I put myself forward for a promotion and got it, the pay rise would cover little more than the tax increase, meaning I'd be putting myself through more stress, working more hours, longer days just to pay my income tax.
Scrap all government employees expenses if they earn more than #30,000, so that's most of the mp's etc. If you can't afford to pay for your own breakfast, get a better job.
Other than that, I have no real opinion.

They should scrap "second homes for MPs".

If you want to work in London, live in London. If you don't want to live in London, either commute, or stay in a budget hotel/hostel at your own expense.

I think they should put sick pay up to your average wage... Lol, would never ever happen... Still... I've been off three weeks and tallied up an epic £127 in SSP!

Well, thats the tax on the landrover sorted this month!
