Re: Poll. I prefer to use an external mouse over the mousepad or nubs. I use a wireless Microsoft Explorer. Perfect.

I never had a laptop up until 2013. I honestly didn't think I could cope with either of them. Mouse was my only method. But since getting my laptop, I'm 100% "mousepad" nowadays.
Except for gaming. Gaming needs a mouse.

... The fuck is a mousepad!?

I prefer a proper mouse but will use the trackpad rather than the nub or noblet as I call it.

I always use a mouse, I have a light compact one. I struggle too much with the track pad and usually disable it to prevent accidentally brushing against it while I type...which I do a lot.

Same here, but Windows 10 fixes that for you when it updates. FUCKING WINDOWS 10.

If I'm watching a bit of telly and got laptop on I'll use the touchpad. More convenient than having to find some place a mouse works reliably.

For any type of actual work, always a mouse. My desktop PC has a Razer Death Adder which is far and away the best mouse I've ever used.
