F1 2016 is the one that's tempting me. I tend to give up playing them once they're out of date, and the latest I have for X360 is F1 2014. I'd have another lash at GTAV as well. And probably hunt out a nice FPS something akin to Medal of Honor Frontline, if such a thing exists. |

Having played and finished Witcher III on PS4 (exc DLC), I'd say that I'd happily buy a PS5 if it had Witcher IV on it. Some of the old PSOne and PSTwo games are worth revisiting though (for a small price). Other than that, yeah, there's not a lot so far worth splurging out for an XBone or PS4, but there will be. |

"There will be" .. Except they're nearly 3 years old, already... By this point we should be getting 3rd gen games on the systems, but it still feels like 1st gen stuff. There's been NOTHING standout, and everything's been bland dull faceless generic FPS crap. I know I'm not the target audience, but .. Fuck!!! -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

The PS2 took three years to hit its stride too. The XBone and PS4 were rushed out a year too early. Nobody wanted or needed them when they were first released - 360 and PS3 were still amazing machines, just look at some of the titles that they had before the "next gen." Developers could have and should have had the machines for an extra year, so that there were standaout games from the start. And yep, Jay, you probably aren't the target audience, but there are definitely lots of games available that could tickle your fancy. There certainly is a lot more to PS4 than just RPGs and FPSs. XBone, not so much. Dunno. My son has one, but I'm not particularly interested in that for the same reason as you aren't. |

I did end up buying a scanner. When I bought the All In One Lazer printer, I expected to use its scanner to archive our entire photo collection. Then this.. https://youtu.be/JJMvdByldD4 So, I didn't bother. Yesterday I bought a cheapo £50 Canon scanner, which has a higher resolution, and hopefully doesn't take 3 fucking minutes to do a single scan!!! It's not due until tomorrow, due to "Prime day is super busy" reasons.. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''
