"And many more brands"
What's the point of brands, anymore, when they all use exactly the same parts!!?

Same with cars. The old Mondeo I had (the "problematic" one), used many of the same parts as a Jaguar X-type. The big surprise is, identical parts were cheaper from Jaguar than they were from Ford - by half!

Always pays to shop around.

I often use https://www.espares.co.uk/ for finding parts though I rarely actually buy from there. But it's handy for finding part numbers that make the search easier.

I went car shopping for the wife earlier this year and found out that the Peugeot 107 is EXACTLY the same car as a Toyota Aygo. WTF?!

Hope you're feeling better Kuron. That'll be the Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys' revenge!

My brother has an Aygo - really good cars, no road tax and upwards of 80mpg.

My Mondeo finally went to the breakers yard in the sky. Glad we were in such a hardy car when someone chose to drive into the back of us a while ago - apparently mondeos got banned against racing against other brands of car at stock car meets due to being so indestructible.

Happy coding!

Saying goodbye to a loved one is always so difficult.

2016 Strikes again!

Bye Bye Mondeo. May you Rust In Pieces.

Those sound like the sorts of courses my Mum would enjoy.

Last year she got sent on a training course as part of her Job Seekers stuff (during that crap bit of 2016 when the gvmt took my PIP away, so she couldn't be my Carer, because I was apparently fit and healthy, so she had 0 money coming in whatsoever, unless she did JobSeekers bollocks, which she wasn't really meant to be doing because she was supposed to be my carer!... etc, etc, etc)

During the course, she did bricklaying, plastering, plumbing, woodwork and more. She really enjoyed it!

.. I should probably look into learning some electronics.. But..
Meh.. Too busy coding, and Pixelarting, and Chooning! I do plenty!!

@Kuraon - I wish our schools and colleges taught those kind of subjects. I would have been all over them like a rash.

I've said for years that I want to take plumbing and electrics courses. I'd love to learn plastering and other bits like that too - purely for myself and home, rather than to use as a job though.
