The reason why revenue from the current infrastructure is drying up is because most of the money goes into overpaid politicians bank accounts.

They're doing this because motorists are propping up the entire economy, and have been for decades.

Without the £billions the government rake in every year in fuel duty, the economy would collapse - and that's saying nothing about road tax - little of which actually goes towards maintaining roads.

Less than 20 years from now when most cars are electric, they won't be getting any of that income. So their way around it is to start shaking up the numerous motorist taxes now, and gradually introduce other ways to fuck us up the arse - that way the government won't feel the hit when the fuel duty stops being a cash-cow. And by doing it over a period of time, they think we won't even notice what they're doing.

Well it best not be expensive when the electric cars do take over, or there will be a lot of politicians getting lynched.

Energy taxes are and have been introduced also lately. Last year the heating taxes were added at around 400 a. Year and this year electricity taxes added at an extra 7 € a month. There are more taxes coming for energy.
Rich people have been getting richer. Jeff besoz from amazon increased his wealth by 8 billion in just the first 14 days oj jabuari. Nobody protesting against those things.

Well they've been given enough rope, they will hang themselves eventually. Who's gonna buy their energy and fuel when it's so expensive that it takes a months wages for a gallon of Diesel?, without customers they are fucked.
