Accelerated Amiga

Here's how to "vamp-up" an Amiga.

I do love the power of these, but I honestly can't see myself using my A600 as anything more than what it actually is.
I mean, if I want more power, I can emulate that.
The original is there to be original!

Me personally, I wouldn't mind an A1200, try getting decent one for less than 300 sobs though.

I think that Vampire card is mainly about seeing how far they can evolve current hardware, although someone probably could build a new super Amiga from the ground up if they had the funding. Shame the Natami never came to light, I read somewhere the team that was working on it ditched the project to work on the Vampire and Apollo accelerators.

The Amiga is dead. Let it rest in peace.

Last time I checked, my Amiga1200 wasn't dead... Might see if she'll fire up later.... Not literally ideally.

I so wished for an Amiga 1200, when we had the Amiga 600... But it was way out of my parents price range.

Think my first 1200 was 130 quid, second hand. Unlike my 500 which I think I bought for 3 or 400 quid on the never never whilst working as an apprentice.
