AMAZON RANKING

It doesn't take much to tweak the ranking on Amazon, at least in some categories.

The book below, I first ordered on ebook. Loved it, then earlier in the week I ordered 13 paperback copies and it shot to number one. Then it fell to number two. Yesterday, I ordered 12 more paperback copies and it is back at number one.

FYI, I love the book and plan to use it as a giveaway as a monthly prize for my site members, so I stocked up on two years worth of giveaways, while the book was reasonably priced and in stock. Keeping one paperback copy for myself, of course.

I ordered I think a hundred books from Amazon last year. I started the year before that with programming, art and music books. This year I switched to audiobooks from Apple. Listening during sports is a good way to smarten up and stay fit. Even have Harvard books now.

Amazon over here has not fully integrated with the countries banking and payment options. So getting everything out of its books is not possible yet.

I just ordered a tad over a hundred physical books over the last week and a half (which is not normal for me). Normally I only buy ebooks for the Kindle, but for non-fiction if it is something I am really studying, I prefer a physical book and often buy physical and ebook versions. Just so much easier in a physical book to flip pages and find something, or jump around if you are studying something.

Big fan of audio books and had thousands that I had to leave behind in TN. Spindles of DVDRs filled with audiobook MP3s and boxes of cassettes and CDs. Thankfully, a lot are now on YT.
