That Was Too Close, Why not to use limewire.

I just downloaded limewire and I found this file, fishy looking and a bit small for what it was meant to be, so off I got to McCaffe and tell it to be very careful and I download it. So I got a virus but before anything happened ...... Norton Antivirus saved the day (this was halfway throught the download, before it had finished) Norton stopps the dwnload, blocks limewire and displays the message: A virusu has been detcted on your computer, Norton has shut down the software you were using as it believes that the virus was being downloaded from there (i.e. limwire) The virus has now been destroyed.

It's funny how McCaffe didn't pick anything up (Nor did windows firewall for that matter of fact) even when Mccaffe was on extreme protection. Basically, Norton saves the day once again. As we speak, Norton is virus scanning my computer, many thanks Symnatec.

Window's firewall isn't supposed to pick up anything, all it does is block ports, and the port was already open for limewire.

I suppose so, update anway, I downloaded 4 other files off Limewire, all of which were viruses. Removed, once again many thanks to Norton.

Edit: Limewire is now out of my computer.
