According to paranormal investigators the video footage is genuine.... yup, just like according to ufologists all unknown objects in the sky are spaceships from another planet.

I'm not going to straight out call her a liar, but it's fairly obvious that the items are being moved by wires. first of all a cup, if moved by a 'spirit' most likely would move in a random direction, not in the direction that the handle [easiest point to attach a wire] was pointing. Same with the spoon, if I pick up a spoon, I don't dangle it by the handle and neither I bet would a ghost.

Sorry, Not believing this for a second. There are a number of things in those photos and video that are very easy to fake.

Magnets/string.

I don't disbelieve that there may well be ghosts, but these aren't convincing me that what we are seeing is caused by poltergeist activity.

I've never seen a ghost, but my dead cat Munchie showed up in my dream, to tell me to "look after mum" one night.

That was particularly creepy.

.. The fact that that was the morning of Sept 11th 2001, made for an extremely unnerving day..

Call me a crank if you like but what I'm about to tell you is true...

I was with a woman in 1993 and her flat was as eerie as fuck. I, and many others that went there, kept catching sight of a black figure that was akin to a shadow but in 3D.

I decided to start hanging objects, rings and stuff, from cotton thread in one of the doorways to see if they twitch. I think I pissed-off what ever was there.

Her TV and kettle used to switch on by itself and the cupboards used to open and then slam. It finally led to us calling a local vicar to bless the place, it all stopped for a few weeks but started again but this time a lot worse.

On one occasion when I stayed there I saw the hanging baby-mobile above her baby daughter's cot start to twitch and then the fucking thing started spinning and shaking violently. As we ran from the flat I was nearly hit by a proper heavy flying ash-tray. We went to her friend across the road and saw the TV set and a light pop on and off quite a few times as we watched from her friend's window.

When we went back we slept in the living room, she hung a chain that had a crucifix on it on her baby's buggy that she was sleeping in. The next day, as we were about to leave, the crucifix just disappeard in front of us, she never saw that crucifix again after that.

A week later Paula started to turn a bit hostile toward me, and her mother started interferring in our relationship, we split up just after that.

As I said above: you can call me a crank and take the piss all you want, but I kept this story short because it still gets to me. I know what I witnessed, and that's what I'm sticking with.

Paula no longer lives at that address but, if you would like to go visit the current occupants, the address is > Reveal 🔎

Upon seeing the video though, it is nothing like the stuff I saw. The stuff in the video looks like it was being moved by wire or magnets, the ash-tray that was launched at me was glass.

And no, there was nobody else in the flat when we fled. It was just me, Paula and her 2 year old daughter.

I still live in the same house me and my dad moved to five years ago, and yet I've not experienced anything here since he died in 2013.

We used to argue quite a lot, and my dad used to say he would come back and haunt me, I said I would suck him up with the vacuum cleaner if he did. If he's haunting anyone though then he would have floated off to Ireland to haunt my mum's sister, they hated each other's guts.

Don't get me wrong, I've had spooky stuff happen to me, but in all honestly I can't think of a single bit of evidence that would make me believe the weirdness is down to ghosts.
When I was younger, a granddaughter clock (this sort of deal ) came off the wall and landed on me, for no reason, there was no damage, it's fixing were still in tact. Almost every time I stayed at my grandfathers house, he used to laugh because I found the stairs really scary. There was a separate light at the top and bottom, each with their own switch, so if I was going upstairs, I would switch the bottom light on, go upstairs, switch that light on, then go down, switch the bottom light off, run upstairs, switch the top light off and run to bed. Same in reverse for coming downstairs. I later found out that my mother did exactly the same when she was younger. Those were really spooky stairs. I can only think it was something to do with the quality of the light or something like that, but boy they scared me. Again, I can't think the paranormal had anything to do with it. There was even that time I was positive there was a goblin watching me from the bottom of my bed, scared the hell out of me (grown men really shouldn't be afraid of goblins) but it turns out I had fallen asleep with my eyes open (the only time I know of) and mistook some clothes hanging on an exercise bike as said goblin, it took Helen a good couple of seconds to wake me up because I was whimpering like a small child, although in my dream I was screaming the house down

I'm of the opinion now that if such things were caused by ghosts etc. it would be more that well documented, just because of the amount of camera phones that have been about for the last decade.

I've had a lot of strange experiences in my life and seen and heard things at home and work (my old workplace really was a source of a lot of strange shit - and not just because it's a mental hospital!). Night shifts were and endless source of "fun." Speak to all of my colleagues in the old place and they will all tell you its haunted.

Examples were zippo lighter type noises and flame blinks in the main lounge area in the middle of the night when it was empty. Music playing upstairs when all residents were asleep - you could't make the music out or exactly where it came from but you could still hear something when you went upstairs. It definitely wasn't a radio or anything playing.

I was sat in a chair once watching tv (on a night shift) and looked up to see a male figure standing over me, one arm raised as though about to beat down and a face that was filled with rage. Scared the shit out of me but then it was gone. The thing is this figure was like an old sepia photo - it wasn't like there was a real person in front of me - there was no colour to it, other than light shades of brown. But the anger in his face - I've seen angry people, but this was far more than that. And I'll never forget it.

Another member of staff claimed to have seen a similar figure walking through a wall that leads from the small lounge to the kitchen. I don't doubt him, but there was never a doorway between the two areas in the location he mentioned.

At home my wife and I used to see shadows and the form of a black dog at the top of the stairs, but rather than scare us, we've always felt safe with it around - we believe it might be one of our old german shepherds. We used to see it quite often, but haven't seen it for years. I quite miss it actually.

And there's many, many more I can recall. So, yeah, I do believe that there are things that can't easily be explained, but I'm also very sceptical about stuff like shown above.

I love horror and ghost stories and recounted tales of hauntings (like Steve's above), but most of them I can see other logic to these "hauntings." I really can't stand those "Most Haunted" type programmes though, where people go into spooky houses with cameras and run around scaring the shit out of themselves everytime they hear a creak or see a moth. Usually just a load of bollocks.

Trust me!, this wasn't some scared kid thing and I was 19 years old at the time. I wasn't the only one that saw this stuff either and what ever that thing was it was also doing stuff to other visitors too, stuff even happened when there was a group of us in there too.

My dad also claims to have had the glass tumbler launched at him during witnessing an Ouija sitting, this was way before my time.

I don't disbelieve you Steve; I meant I was sceptical about that video and photos that HotShot posted.

I'm fascinated by paranormal activities (not the movie - that was shit) and have read loads of books and ags on the subject over the years. Fascinated by anything unexplained. watching a good show at the moment called Monsters & Mysteries. I don't necessarily believe it all, but if even only a small percentage is real, then that leaves lots of questions unanswered.

Don't get me wrong Ian, I should have worded myself better, I know you wern't saying you disbelieve me.

Me and my dad are not the only ones that have had parnormal experiences, quite a few people in my family have. I have a cousin that's a medium, my sister can sometimes make things move by staring at them, my grandad, nan, dad, uncles and aunts also claim to have seen stuff years ago. Moulsecoombe is built on a medieval battle ground so that's not surprising. Half of the Ancell families are also of Romany-gypsy descendant, a lot of us are spritualists, that could be why we are a magnet for weird shit.

The rest of my immediate family claim to have been visited by my dad but I haven't seen him personally, my house seems devoid of anything like that. I do see him a lot in my dreams though.

I would have thought something would happen though, I have his ashes on my window sill.
