Seems the big Chinese company have pulled out of their big deal with OUYA, leading to.. Um.. Chaos..!

According to reports, OUYA's desperately seeking a buyer, and all hell's broke loose.
No idea how much of that is factual, or what, but most folk are seeing it as the end of days.
I kinda hope not, because I really do love that little box'o'games, and it'll be a shame to lose all those lovely folk from my AGameAWeek-fandom.

It is a shame, as the machine is really quite nice. I just put mine away one day and never got it back out - tbf though, I have been incredibly busy with soooo much other stuff in the last year or so, that I haven't really had time to play on any system that isn't a handheld, and then it's only in short bursts while doing other things.

So, OUYA Game Jam next weekend anyone?

Make a game, in 48 hours, submit it to the OUYA Store.

Just an idea.

They make stupidly priced peripherals that look awesome to anyone under the age of 15.

Razer's a peripheral manufacturer, much like MadCatz, most famous for ludicrously overly fashionable mouses and mouse mats. I'm sure they must do other stuff, but whenever I hear Razer, I think ".... How much..? for a mouse!!?"

...??!! How much??! For a Mouse!!??

Most I've ever spent on a mouse was £7.99, and that lasted me a good number of years. ... And was GOOD!!!!

I have an apple magic mouse I think it was expensive and like the apple keyboard it's by far the best I've ever used. I even gave up using my trackball... which has a scroll wheel!

lol I use a small Advent wireless keyboard and mouse. I don't like wide keyboards that take all your desk space. My keyboard doesn't have a numeric keypad (which I'd never use) but is lovely to type on - and cheap.

Microsoft make the worst possible keyboards, soooo spongy you feel like you've been using a speccy keyboard from back in the day.

@GfK:

Is that a gamer style mouse though?. I got an HP 5-button comfort mouse for 20 quid, I was told I must have been mad paying that for a mouse.

My brother swears by his Razer mouse with 143* programmable buttons, but I swear at any mouse with more than 2 and a scrollwheel. I hate hate HATE buttons on the side of a mouse.

*may be slight hyperbole

When I use the laptop away from the desk, and can only use the touchpad thingy, that's when I realize that these little devices are worth their weight in gold, and, yeah, would myself pay over the odds for a good'un!!!
