Good job Microsoft, the latest W10 'security' update completely removed my ability to access the internet. Isn't if a fun idea to force updates on people without a choice!

Perfectly secure

@CraigGrannell's having some epic issues with updates, today. From what I can see, Apple's frequent updating has caused some kind of crazy issues between his iOS device and his Mac.. Between the two conflicting sets of data, the iPhoto apps have both been deleting pretty much his entire collection of photos and videos.

Lesson to Learn : Be sure to back up, but importantly, don't trust the default settings, or allow your backups to become entirely automated! That way, chaos lies!!

Ive backed-up for ever, but only ever had say 2 problems where I needed the backup. but those 2 issues were pretty important to me.

Managed to get the issue sorted. It seems loads of people with the same wifi adapter as my laptop have had issues with a handful of the updates, not just the latest one. So I uninstalled the update (some of them let you) then uninstalled my wifi driver, rebooted and that was that.

I'll have to watch out for that one. Just in case!!
Glad to hear it's mostly easy to fix, though.
