@Agent Smith:
Myself this topic is turning into a religious argument

I was hoping the religion-roasting would end there... You could at least be nicer towards those who believe in religions. That is their choice, as your choice not to believe is your choice. I don't have a religion, but I'm not saying "All religions are stupid".

And, yes, there's plenty of room on my wooden fence!

@Agent Smith...

Woah... how long did it take you to think of that sentence. You may think that God is a fictional character, but millions of people who have believed for thousands of years cannot be wrong. I'm not forcing you to believe, so don't try to force people to not believe, I will stick with what I know and you can stick with what you know. I rest my case. Jay... Please lock this topic before there is a massive fallout among the community.

Cannot is a strong word when there is no scientific basis to prove these beliefs. Especially when science is increasingly disproving many of them.

The way I see it is that when you die, your mind goes with you and with it dies the vision of god you may have chosen to create. Then there will be nothing, but its not bad.

Anyway even if a god exists, why should he care if people believe in him?

Religion creates arguements no matter how civil you try to start the conversation, as seen in this thread. It's worse on a forum because you don't exactly know whether someone is saying something as a joke, or being serious, sarcastic, etc.

Calling a "God fearing" person a "deluded fool" is insulting, as well as telling an atheist to ask for forgiveness from something he doesn't believe in.

The purpose of the thread was to stop exactly what is happening to the thread. Maybe PM's random message was better left unnoticed or deleted.

I LOVE religious debates. I truely do. But not this one.

Like I said, I rest my case.
