There are new gadgets for the ios version of gadget. The two game instrument gadgets from the swich and one free one(if you own electribe wave) called warszawa.

I tried to upload a video of the new warszawa gadget but youtube seems to error with the upload.

The warszawa gadget seems to have loads of instruments. A list and then a whole bunch of preset variations per instrument.also there are a number of tweaks.

Maybe the soundtestroom wil be able to create a video of it.

Oooh, sounds exciting. Having tried the two Switch things on the Switch version, they're a bit pants, but the other one seems like it might be better.

I'll have a play, later. (Currently making a Minigolf game!)

I was able to upload the video to my onedrive and then used the laptop to upload it to youtube. The video is 6 minutes or so. Only at the end I discovered the many presets per instruments btw.

Mmmmm!!!
Yeah, I'll definitely be having a play with that, tonight!

Cost
£14.99 for the separate Electribe App, which Gadget then integrates with.
Electribe has two further IAP's of £2.99 each, for the complete set of soundpacks.

£9.99 for each of the other two in-gadget. I didn't bother with the Sega one, as I found that super-crappy on the Switch.
I did, however, pick up the Taito (Ebina) one because that gives some crisp chippyness. It's fairly similar to the Namco Kamata one, though.

I forgot about the iap's. I do not think I have these yet.

I think I will skip the sega and taito gadgets.

I was planning on giving nanostudio 2 a try after it's update. Now with bluetooth midi. And I learned the fm player 2 synth integrates into it and this one is only a buck or so. Today gadget 2 came out. Not enough time!

De have difficulties here also. I had tried to upload the video to facebook first and it just closed. I just found that it had uploaded in the background.
Youtube on the ipad just will not upload at all.

I hope that once the new ipad os wil be a lot better. Gadget and other apps still have that bug where I switch to anither app the sound wil not work anymore. The devs at gadget can not reproduce it.

I have been trying to make a track with the warszawa gadget. I went to visit someone just and had been trying to come up with idea’s. I was thinking of singing some vocals myself with my axel voice but it has been 10 years with no practise.

I also bought the fm player app. Some nice instruments in that one. Seems to work allright in nanostudio. Bluetooh midi works now so I can use the korg nanokey studio with it.

Edit: nice track there. Thinking I would add some cutting strings in there

I'm slightly tempted to buy the MegaDrive Gadget, now, just to make another crazy test choon...
My ebina test ended up a LOT better than my previous attempts with the Switch edition did...

I worked on this song for hours. Just got to the point where I think I am done for now. I used the Warszawa gadget for most instruments. I go inspiration from a song by 4mat called the golden ages. Though I barely referenced it and did a lot of my own.

This year I learned that I could use the EQ effects for making instruments more hearable. I am still trying to get used to using this.

I woke up just now. I still had it playing in the background. I could not recognize it anymore and I can not believe I made this and it turned out this disappointing I spend most of yesterday and the night working on it. I am happy though that I spend the time getting more experienced with gadget.

The Ebina Bandina tune sounds rather nice!

Maybe today I wil spend another day with gadget.

Korg Triton for Gadget and standalone rumored. (ios)

Youtube Link

It might drop in a couple of days. I think I might buy it the moment it comes out.

Might be nice.
I'd REALLY, though, love something like a SID chip, or a Yamaha AY (speccy, amstrad and more)
Having those in gadget would be awesome!! .. .. but extremely unlikely..

Ok, they released the Korg Triton software today, but it is only for the pc and mac! I really hope a gadget version is coming in the next few months?

The mac and pc version is 200$ I noticed korg software itself is really bad. The main problem for me is that it is locked on 1 computer at a time needing to register on a website if you use it on another computer. Then register again if you switch laptops. There are not many daws it is supported for either.

Korg module has been updated to version 4.0. I think I wil be able to use it with Nanostudio now since it has audio unit support. I can not find the news page right now. It also has a new instrument set. I found out on facebook.

The selection seems easier with Glasgow now. It all seems to work correctly with Nanostudio. I think I wil get the inapp for the new synth instruments as they are only $5.

This month sees a new set of instruments for the Module/Fairbank Gadget.
The "Far North" collection is all icy and chilly and cold and ...brrrr..

As is the norm, I've made a choon with just these instruments (plus drums)

I am REALLY sick of Module sample-packs, now.
It's been AGES since we got some nice new synths to play with.

I stil hope that they wil release the triton. They would just need to port it from pc to ipados/ios. But I think that they just do not make enough money with their software to make it worthwhile.
