Anyone got any idea for what I should add to this watch-face?

A red outline for the pointer that surrounds the 4.

Why's it only 16 bits?

It's actually only 1-bit. The screen is epaper, part of the reason the pebble battery lasts a week and the iWatch/Samsung watches only last a day.
@dna - can't do a red anything I'm afraid.

Ohh, thought of a thing which might make it quicker to glance at, couldn't describe it so I edited your pic instead

-- Added a black outline around the pointer for clarity. Dunno if this will help, but eh, it's just an idea

Ok, ordered a Pebble..

Should be here, tomorrow.
Expect insanity by the end of the week...

Jay, I respectfully request that you restart that idea I asked your permission to do, so that someone (you) might finish it...

Its quite a good idea!

I was going to ask if you were doing it.
I'll probably give it a whirl, tomorrow, time permitting.

I got myself ties up in knots trying to do an infinite loop with 8 or so sprites, I went about it backwards. I would have restarted it, but I got that stupid drawing game stuck in my head.

"Readebble".. Rss reader that doesn't appear to want to update it's feed, thus rendering it mostly useless. ... Unless it's SoCoder's fault.. I must check into that...

Bah!
Hard to code when their CloudPebble IDE website dies!!
I'm currently midway through figuring out how the hell sin/cos is supposed to work!!

OK, got the sin/cos stuff worked out.

.. Or, rather, managed to fuck about with the division until it looked roughly correct!

Halfway there, scrolling works, jumping works, but collision isn't done yet, nor is any of the scoring.

.. Not a bad couple of hours, though.. (With a gap in the middle when the site stopped working!)

SpikeDislike_Jr for Pebble

V1.0, suggest tweaks and I might bother to make 'em!

For those interested, my current list of installed apps is..
1. SpikeDislike
2. MisFit

.. That is all..
I've also got my Platdude watch, and Spinal's HalfWatch, but other than that I've not really scowered the Pebble-verse, yet.

I did try out Readebble, and it worked ok, but.. Realistically, I don't need it.
It'd be nice if I could get an app to send rss feed notifications, but annoyingly, because I'm using an iPad and the pebble's app is sandboxed in iPhone mode, it doesn't recognise the fact that I installed the companion apps, so is rendered useless. Hmm...

I used to worry about "next tech", but I gave up a long time ago. Now I care more about what's cheap!!
I got a Pebble for £92. I can't imagine Pebble 2 being anywhere near that pricepoint.
I got Platdude on it in a day, and SpikeDislike the next day.

To be honest, I've already accomplished everything I wanted to do with the watch!!
Now it is merely "the thing on my wrist that counts my steps"

Whenever Pebble 2 appears, I'll probably have a nosey, but I can't imagine I'll be desperate to splash out the cash on something that's more of the same.

Jay, how well does pebble play with a windows phone? Does windows do Bluetooth notifications the same way as ios/android? Or do you need some sort of app for that?

Um.. Dunno! I connected it to my iPad!
Fuck all goes through my WinPhone, except the odd occasion when mum texts to say she's on the bus home!!!

*looks*
There doesn't appear to be an official Pebble App..

Jay, how about a spike update for the colour watch? it should be a simple case of providing now gfx it it still compiles well in the updated cloudpebble (my halfwatch doesn't like the update, might have to redo from scratch).

Who knows, if you take on the pebble the same way as ios/android/ouya/windows/html5/ds, they might [I highly doubt it] send you a free one :-p
