Practising and learning pixel art

After buying the fantasy console Basic8 I got back into drawing pixel art. I collected a lot of references over the years and this helps a lot. Google also is helpful with the amount of pictures it has.

I have spend 2 days now drawing. I have spend hours creating items and tiles.

I think that drawing at low resolutions of about 8x8 pixels I can learn how to do it better then with higher resolutions. I have also begun to understand the c64 color palette better. I am using the build in sprite editor for Basic8 and the editor Pyxeledit. Aseprite does not have a build in map editor yet.

I might buy Gamemaker Studio in the future, since that one has a build in sprite also.
