The Win8 preview is booting my shit-PC quicker than I've EVER seen it boot.
True, the Bios crap's still taking a moronic amount of time, but then you get the little fish thing (seriously, wtf is with the fish?) and then Blammo! Windows!!
Just like that!!
Pushed the power button, turned around to check twitter, turned back.. WTF There's Windows?!
I had to shut it down just to time the thing!
Amazed!
.. The rest of it's nothing to write home about, with stupid ribbons taking 48% of explorer's window, and the whole "This bit's Windows, This bit isn't" thing.
In many ways, it's like going back to using DOS again.
There's Windows, There's Not Windows..
And you'll have a whole bunch of shit that runs in one, and not the other, for reasons that you'll never truly understand.
Actually, I wonder if this still does DOS games properly?
It does still have BOTH CommandLine AND Powershell.. Seriously, why the hell would it have both?!
