Apple TV+ ''Comedies''

This week I've binged 2 Apple TV "Comedies". Here are my thoughts.

1. The Big Door Prize
Mysterious Arcade Cabinet appears in town, and dispenses cards that tell the person what their true potential is. It seems to be able to see into the soul of the people, and events get weirder as more of these "truths" are unveiled.

I'm currently halfway through Season 2, and aren't enjoying it as much as Season 1.
Though both seasons are "more relationship drama than comedy", Season 2 feels even more relationship focused than the previous one, and it's kinda put me off, halfway through.
I'll probably watch the rest for the sake of completing it, but .. I dunno.
But season one was fun to watch. I'd probably recommend that if you're an Apple TV user.

2. Murderbot
A security robot deactivates his safety protocols, and "goes rogue".. But in a gentle "I'll still protect the idiot humans, I suppose" kinda manner, and instead uses his power of "freedom" to watch TV dramas.

Imagine if Marvin the Paranoid Android was given a show. That's more or less the gist here.
(Also, the actor reminds me of Max Headroom!!)

It's based on a series of novels. I'm tempted to track those down. (They're in the Apple iBook store. There's 8 of them. There's also audiobooks.. hmm...)

Enjoyable, and fun, and slightly more comedy than the other show, but that's hardly saying much.

The hell's wrong with comedies, lately? The only way you can tell either of these are "Comedy" instead of "Drama", or "SciFi", is because they only get half hour episodes.. Otherwise, they're sure as hell not what I'd call Comedy.
They're Drama with a few jokes here or there.

..
They are still good though. Both of them, and I'd definitely recommend either/both.
I managed to get through entire seasons of them, which is more than I can say for a lot of the other Apple TV "Comedies" that are out there.
ugh...
