Socoder -> Off Topic -> Is your memory any good?

I didn't think that the fruit of just a couple of hours' work was worthy of a showcase entry, so I made a topic about it instead This is my first Flash game, and I've learned that ActionScript 3 is a pretty decent language contrary to what I thought it was before.

Play here!

In case you can't figure it out, you're supposed to memorize the whole sequence of notes as shown by the game. If the game first flashes the red square, then you should click that one. If the game then flashes the yellow one, then you should click first the red one and then the yellow one, and so forth.

I can manage about 13 notes until my memory starts to become wobbly

I got to 14... the tune I made actually sounded pretty decent, too!

Managed 16

The tune should always sound decent, since it's just a C major chord being played. The choice of notes isn't always that musical though (unless you think that random() is an undiscovered Mozart ).

I only played the once, I got 11.

When it plays the next tone for you, the block doesn't seem to always fully update. Often the top 5th of the block will still have the light colour from when it played the note.

I suppose it's a bit buggy then. It still plays though

It is only a very minor bug.
