Yay... Interesting news to distract me from coursework... French dump Windows Which comes amid reports that Microsoft have offered cut-throat prices to English offices considering Linux, in an attempt to stop the conversion. The link has gone missing, but Microsoft appear panicked. And a new way that beats binary, using colours and shapes on a piece of paper to store over 200 Gigabytes More news as the boredom takes it's toll. Hey, that's like Karl Marx meets computers. There's a story that I keep meaning to read where Trotsky's personality is uploaded to the Internet as an A.I. program, and leads a revolution. I'll have to read that soon! Anyway, my Local supermarket starts selling it's own software packages, not that I'd buy software from there! i have a weird feeling in me towards the french. it is not hating them with a vengeance. also a windows malware is not going to work on linux so the french have nothing to worry about on the linux workstations. now what distro will they use? ubuntu, red hat, fedora core? who knows what the french will pick -=-=- i like green haired girls... |
