I still have all my PC games, the same way I have my Amiga disks, my Amstrad Tapes and my kick ass Dreamcast collection..
But.. Somewhere along the way, I seem to have given up collecting.

My Gamecube collection is minimalist, my DS games are almost all gone, and my Wii pile fluctuates between Plenty and Almost None..

Trade-ins have ruined my collections!!

QOTD : Do you keep games once you're done with 'em? And if so, what was the last one you actually bothered to replay?

I don't, once I'm done playing I either trade them in, or let the 'unplayed pile' build up until they're worth trading for something I want.

I have noticed, that modern games don't seem to have the replay value that ye olde games did. But then maybe young kids just like playing games more that we adults.

Depends on the replayability of the game. If it has multiplayer, things like that, then I may go back to it. I've still got my NES hooked up, and my 2600 and Saturn are right by the TV. I did, however, get rid of a lot of the games this passing summer at a garage sale.

I think the main thing is that newer games aren't meant to be played over and over again, meaning no replay value. They've got a storyline, much like movies now, and when you play through it, it's over. Finding a new game with infinite replayability, like Bubble Bobble, is hard these days, and I think that's just the style of today's games.

The last one I bothered to replay was Paperboy, actually. Gotta love the obstacle course...

I don't have a large number of games, but I never trade in games I've finished. Can't remember the last game I replayed... been a long time.
