My sister recently dropped her phone in a cup of coffee.. .. Note : Both my sisters are stupid when it comes to technology. Having got her phone back (I suspect it's a new phone!) she now needs to recollect everyone's phone numbers. She's asked everyone to send her a text, explaining who they are, so she can add them to her phonebook.  ... Couldn't leave that without a stupid jokey comment.. hmm.. what to put..? Me and Mum both sat thinking for a few minutes, before the perfect silly jokey reply struck. Mum commented on the post. (Not a text, a comment!!)  We're both now sitting here giggling away, waiting for her to reply! |update| Waited half an hour.. No reply..  |update|

A friend of mine was lucky after he dropped his iPhone into a pint of beer when we were out drinking, it worked again after he dimantled it and dried it out. I wasn't quite so lucky when I bricked my Galaxy Ace, I forgot to back up my numbers so they were gone when I reinstalled the phone. I bloomin' well made backups this time though.

OK, finally my sister's gotten back.. Apparently her new/old/fixed/screwed phone has also died on her. LOL.. Anyhoo, the continuing conversation has been like so.. Sis : Eh? When I think of a contact list, my first thought certainly isn't my mobile device. All of my contacts reside on my Google account.

Is the Google contact list a standard thing with Android then? Do you have to sign up to it or is it automagic? I'm going to get an Android phone for myself at some point - for development purposes if nothing else mind!

Signing into my GoogleAccount with my Nexus7, not only I scantly gave me my entire Google Contact list, it also grabbed all the photos I'd ever posted to Google+ and Picassa, leading to over 350 old AGameAWeek screenshots being downloaded to the device, along with a crapload of pictures of Gabby, the cat who passed away last Xmas. So, yeah, it should all be automated, as long as you've signed in. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''
