Got me Gameboy Color... Sodding eCheque took forever as well as the postage time... It stated in the advert mind that it was in excellent condition... Apparently excellent condition doesnt include having to use the strength of Superman to get the sodding d-pad buttons right and down to actually acknowledge my existance... Looks like a little fixey repair is in order... Bugger eh, all that time and I still have muck about! Meh

You will probably find 10 years worth of nicotine stopping those buttons from working properly, methylated spirit works wonders there.

No need to older tech. GameBoy games work happily on anything up to GameBoy Advance SP. I think the GBA Micro was the first to remove classic GameBoy abilities, then the DS eventually killed off it's GBA port for some reason..

If cleaning doesn't fix the dpad issue, I recommend sticking some kitchen foil to the rubber contact.

Thanks fella's... Gonna play with it tomorrow, see what the score is!

I have Tetris Mr C, love Tetris on the Gameboy, can play it for hours... Though, If I play it on anything else, like, in a browser or on a phone, I get bored quick... Odd, because it is the same game, but, the Gameboy very will always be the best!

Gameboy Tetris is probably the best version ever! Even later gameboy versions didn't have the same charm.
