18th February 2007

I liked the site. Tbh I dont get why so many people here feel they got to moan about it. But it has been quite dead of late.
Well if it has to die it would be nice if we could redirect some of the users here. Some of the admin used to get a bit funny abo*snip*

OpenGL or DirectX?

12th February 2007

OO dont necessarily mean better, its kind of down to personal preference. I'm half surprised that Java is in top position, tho I have noticed a hell of a lot of jobs require it. I'll be learning Java soon. Should be fun :)

Javascript question

11th February 2007

Cool, that looks like what I want. The text I'm using will be a variable that will change frequently, but from what I have seen I don't think that will be a problem. Now I'll just have to try it out, cheers :)

Javascript question

11th February 2007

Yeah i know it works with text boxes, but I wanted to find out if you can do it to normal text, as in not in a box.
Calling the time updates text displaying the time every second, so i figured there might be a way to update other text.

Javascript question

10th February 2007

I have an HTML page with a little javascript prog that runs in it. If I have a variable printed on screen that changes, can i get that change to be displayed on-screen without having to refresh the page?
I can do this with form input boxes. IE:

Thanks, I like this game too :) the title isn't really all that original though, because the games just a simplified version of this flash game Znax.
I might add bonuses and stuff to my game just to give it a little something different.

Okay I recoded it for 3 colours including black. It uses symbols instead of colours, and is quite a bit harder, though not as nice.

Okay I updated the rules on the title screen hopefully there wont be any more confusion :)
@diablosdevil: the bigger the rectangle the more points you get. EG: 2*2=4 points, 4*3=12 points, 10*8=80 points, etc

Yeah you can get 3*2. You can make rectangles, my bad I used the word square when I meant rectangle.
You can get blocks of more than 2*2. You can get the entire grid in one move if the corners are all the same colour. I guess I will have to rewrite the in*snip*
