Jayenkai	How's Things? - August 2024 Been super quiet around here, lately, so thought I should post a "How's things" thread where you can all vent and/or let us know how things are going. For Me and Mum, we're currently in the "waiting for the plasterer to show up" phase of the bungalow. The living room and dining room are the biggest task, and that requires a LOT of work to be done, so we've asked for a bit of help from family, and are stuck waiting for things to happen, which is super frustrating. Health wise, the past few weeks of Super-Hot, Raining, Freezing, Super-Hot have been taking their toll (tole?!) on my health. Been incredibly woozy, and have had a lot of spacing-out, which Mum's slightly worried about, but that I'm fairly certain are just me overthinking my code, right now. I've a lot of projects on the go. .. Gawd, I hope that's all it is. But enough about me. How are you? What's going on in your life. Hope you're all coping ok. hugs -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

cyangames	Things over here are (okaayyyyy) although I feel like I'm on a knife edge with some things a lot of the time, my head goes from I'm screwed to I'm really screwed a lot of late. Ranty Rant Rant Rant is in the spoiler, apologies if this offends people, my headspace is in the bad area currently. > Reveal 🔎 I have no idea how I'm going to be able to save up enough money for any form of pension, let alone a house / flat / hovel to live in on my wage and am still trying to not spend money, invest like crazy and there's nothing. My life style doesn't even allow me to be able to afford such things as learning to drive let alone driving a damn car. Somehow I'm supposed to have saved ~200k in the bank at retirement age in order to live well finally, that's essentially 10 years of wages for me and I only have 28 years left in the workforce. I have to hope that my investments pay off just so I can hope to retire on a basic, basic lifestyle. Flap Happy still has 2 invisible bugs inside it which I'm unable to reproduce within emulators or my PAL console, yet they are there on the NTSC console. ARRGHHHHHH Cancelled most of my memberships a while ago to save up cash some more, which is fine but, pretty boring. Work has been a bit tougher of late, I've had to take time off due to illness leaving me to need to work almost an hours overtime everyday for the rest of the year in order to pay it back, or just take a pay cut, which I really can't afford to do, I really hope that Alien Metals or Helium One or Quadrise Fuels do actually take off over the next few years so I can be a little less stressed about this side. I simply have to make more money to keep this here roof over my head and press on but it's not getting any easier. I keep on investing whatever I can but it's getting tougher every god damned month. On the happier side of things I do have the kids for next week though which will at least give me some time for a mental reset which I badly need at the moment. At least I do still have a job I'm learning Japanese again, again There's plenty more NES games in the pipeline which, I hope, will provide some more cashflow over time, hopefully enough to do something nice for the kids Got lots of tomatoes from the patio garden so far, like 30 already! -=-=- Web / Game Dev, occasionally finishes off coding games also!
