Bought a mini 8'' 4:3 lcd monitor

I bought a new monitor. This time a tiny 8" model in 4:3 aspect ratio.

It replaces a second hand one of similar size that's more than 15 years old. The old one has limited inputs (vga and AV) and has decided it doesn't like the signal from my mini pet (which to be fair may not be giving the most robust output) and it's got to the stage where it flickers and rolls a bit too often to ignore now.

So the new one seems good. Well built and hopefully will last.

Has the AV inputs for my mini pet. Looks fine. I'll be able to hook up my (real) ZX81 to it too.

Has the vga input, not got anything to connect to that. But also has hdmi so I can also use it for a selection of mini's such as The Spectrum, Amiga and Atari 400.

Now to reorganise my room to lay these all out.

I find it somewhat infuriating that I can't simply plug inputs into all these mobile devices that I have lying around. They sure would be useful as little displays.
