Socoder -> Off Topic -> Organization/Time Clock Program?

I'll admit, i am not the most organized person around. I'm asking about this because in my line of work, I often lose track of time and what i'm supposed to be doing (try managing 16 clients/day and deal with their notes, and log your time for each). Does anyone know of a good all in one program that can help me keep up with projects/notes/time spent on each?

I use Microsoft Outlook, for a free option you could try out Sunbird [Mozilla]

If you've got a decent compatible phone, using outlook's probably the beter choice. You can merge things with the phone, keep a todo list at hand, and add extra items whilst you're on the move.
Handy.
However, if you're the type of person's who's pretty much sat by their desk all day, anyway, then just do as I do, and keep yourself a little physical checklist. Maybe post-it notes, or a wall-based day planner thing.. or even print out a selection of specialist checklists, with main tasks on the left side of the paper, and extra info on the right, so that you can write in any extra stuff as it comes in.

Paper, wonderful stuff

Ive been jumping between my whiteboard and desk, but you can only pack so much stuff into that little space until it all gets smeared together... i guess the tried and true method of paper is best, though i'd probably lose those too! haha... ill give Sunbird a whirl, see how that does. Sucks, i gave my PDA to my roommate since i didn't need it anymore, and it had outlook on it! blahgjhgfff..... Thanks for the help all

I use a white board to organize my work. There is nothing better.

You might want to look at some "Customer Relationship Management" (CRM) software. The two that I used and was most familiar with are "Goldmine" and "ACT!". Both help by allowing you to write notes as your talking to a client and to set alarms with reminders to keep you on schedule in calling your clients. Slight learning curve but should be worth the effort.

There's a web based app like those mentioned above, but can't remember the name (maybe "Janus" or something like that).

[Edit] Just Googled "free CRM software"
