The Miyamoto bit was most definitely the best part of that conference..

The $£$£$£ watches and £$£$£$ earphones were typical Apple.

I'm not sure I'd be boasting about "Free delivery"! I should bastard well think so at that price.

Delivery via Limousine!

The only thing keeping the price of Apple products high is the consumer that camps outside the store before the launch day. Remember, you are not a sheep!

I couldn't cope with the camping stuff.
Not for me.

.. But I have been known to Day-0 Online Order stuff..
IIRC I did that with my last iPad, and I've certainly quick-ordered a couple of my iPod Touches.

I nearly keeled over when I saw the price, even though the "cheapo" versions are a rip.. If your unfortunate enough to have a large wrist your paying an extra 100 quid!?!

How, how does that work Apple?

They are mental!

I'm quite happy with my Pebble. It does everything I need from a watch, and more.
Sure, it doesn't have a touchscreen, so I can't play Fruit Ninja on it, or order a taxi, or stuff like that.
.. But I have 100 other gadgets surrounding me at all times, any of which can let me throw a bird from a catapult without any issues.

I can also put my own watchfaces onto it, which is something the Apple Watch is severely lacking.

It might as well have a label on it "100% compatible with rich tossers, bell-ends and scumbag poseurs"

.. It has an Apple logo on it..

I couldn't cope with the camping stuff.
Not for me.

I wouldn't camp for the night on the sofa for anything made by Apple, never mind outside one of their shops for three sodding days.

Proof, like I needed any, that Apple fanboys have more money than sense.

Those silly Apple Fanboys.

Those silly Apple Fanboys.

You can own Apple stuff without being a fanboy. I've got an iPhone (I dunno if it's a 4 or a 5, had it given), plus an iPad 2, and an iPod 4. Oh, and a 2010 iMac. I'm not a fanboy. If I was, all of those would be thrown in a cupboard and the very latest versions of everything would be cluttering up my desk.

For instance, I saw something somewhere where somebody was complaining that there wasn't a 64GB iPhone 7, only 32GB and 128GB, and the guy was moaning because 32GB was less than his iPhone 6, and the 128GB was too pricey.

That, is a fanboy. Why the fuck would you get an iPhone 7 when you've already got an iPhone 6? WHY?! "Ah, but the screen is 1mm bigger, it's 2g lighter and 11 microns thinner, the battery lasts for an extra six minutes AND the home button buzzes now".

Bollocks! It's all just laughable bollocks.

Honestly, why upgrade to the frivolous shit Apple keep adding, but nobody in their right mind would ever want? What next, Apple? Paper flowers popping out of the end of it like some sort of 3rd rate magic trick?

I'm going for a lie down now, with a flannel on me head.

|edit| Apparently I have an iPhone 4S.

I don't use my iPad for much anymore, my Mac mini is my main windows PC and my iPhone 5 will have to do me until I can't get a used iPhone 6 for a lot cheaper than £150, even then, the current evolution of jailbreak is next to useless, so now extra column of icons or ant good themes or anything like that.

I recently got an SE. That's a "Power of a 6s, case of a 5" more or less, and it's fairly cheap, too. .. By Apple standards..

Might be worth looking out for one of those, too.
Unless you want the super-sized 6/+?

I get by without any iProducts. And that's exactly how I like it.

Sure, I've got a MacMini (which I haven't turned on in over a year) and an iPod Touch 2 (which I haven't tuned on in perhaps three years or more); I don't even know where it is now, actually.

And, I can happily live without the fuckware that is iTunes. Life is so much better without that

Even the most absolute die-hard Apple Fanboy avoids using iTunes!

It's perfectly fine on the device, but FUCK, the actual desktop app is horrendous!!

Annoyingly, I seem to have to use it every week to get my KORG Gadget rendered music files. They're supposed to be able to upload to DropBox, but.. *shrugs* I think that functionality's a bit broken!
