Is it possible to give a sphere a height map in blitz3d?

Mog
any mesh is deformable in blitz3d, its the matter of wrapping the heightmap on a plane idea into a spherical coordinates. look into the SURFACE commands in modifying a mesh. to answer your question: nativly, no, but the tools are there.

Mog is right, after all, Blitz (and all 3D libraries) merely represent spheres as a set of triangles.
