Today is/was my B/D, so if you didn't see me online much, that'll be the reason why. I spent the day playing Wii Virtual Games having recieved 4000 points. (That's about £30 worth!) I spent the points on.. Super Mario Bros, 'cos I'm a sucker, and seem to keep spending money on it, even though I know all the levels off by heart. Super Mario World, 'cos I never owned a SNES, so haven't ever played it. Kirby, 'cos it's kirby.. Kirby and Mario Bros can be played with the Wiimotes, but Mario World needs either the Classic Controller, or a Gamecube one. Unfortunately, the layout of the Gamecube controller isn't quite right for Mario World.. ie, It's really really hard to hold X/Y (run) and tap B (jump).. They're really far away from each other, and you need to use an extra finger to do it. Not impossible, but not very comfortable, either. I also got a nice Wii T-shirt from Gamestation. One of those cheap £9.99 ones. Nice  The other lovely present I received was a Logitech S510 Media Keyboard Remote Desktop Doohicky, which you can read about here. My quicky review.. Remote, Works fine, but has no way of moving the mouse, so you're fairly limited by it's preset functionality. Mouse, Odd shape, but works as a mouse should. Keyboard, Nicest clickity-click sound I've ever heard from a desktop keyboard. It's practically a Laptop keyboard. Mmm... Nice! And all cordless, so I'm off to lie in bed, and watch a few episodes of Stargate.. Using my nice new mouse! (... Obviously not watching it through the mouse, of course.. that would be silly!) |
