Never tried it, but @VDichotomy had issues with it, lately, after a hard drive failure. Good, useful, but fooked if you lose bits and pieces.

PlayMyCode's great, btw

Recently, I've made This, This and This!!

It might well be, but yoyo apparently boasts publishing on a range of platforms such as psp, ios and android without having to learn whatever languages are usually required, although they do take quite a hefty cut.

Monkey works for that, as does GLBasic.
(but.. GLBasic doesn't have Pitch for audio, and that pissed me off! Didn't try Monkey enough.. wouldn't let me without paying for it.. ffs)

If you are referring to this (Linkage) then yes. I never got on with it, yet my nephew tried it when he was still in primary school and took to it like a rat to a sewer. Funny thing is, he had never programmed in his life at that point!.

I would be incredibly wary of anything that lets you write once and run anywhere. That usually means "we made some huge compromises on functionality." Just look at Monkey, you can't do even half the stuff I'm doing with it.

As much as I hate to say it, Cower's right.*
I spent a good 2 months, at the start of this year, trying various languages.
In the end, I'd accomplished nothing, and wasted 2 months.

I ended up with BlitzMax for win/lin/mac, and XCode/Obj-C/Cocos2D for iOS.
.. which is exactly what I had 2 months earlier..

|edit| *to clarify, that's not "I hate to agree with Cower", that's "I'd love if an all-in-one existed, but it just doesn't" |edit|

I never really gave anything like this a shot before, probably for the same reason I don't like 'visual' languages, there is defiantly a distinct lack of control involved with development. I'm going to give it a try though, the free version apparently has a bunch of limitations, I guess I'll find out what they are later.
I will of course report back on my findings, be they good or bad.
