I pulled a virus / trojan from my system that had skype.exe as a part of the name. I do not even use Skype.

That's pretty much how they manage to get onto folks systems. Name themselves after popular apps that "Normal" users tend to use, and sneak onto the system. I'd be more worried about the fact that you've installed dodgy software, than the name of the virus.

And now the Trojan.Zbot.DE popped up but Malwarebytes removed it before it did anything.
I use that and have Avast running as well.
They both have been doing a good job.
