Jayenkai	Disclaimer : Our family are "Technically" Mormon, albeit lapsed to the point of not giving any kind of a crap. (Although a lot of the Irish side of the family are still incredibly devout in their Mormon-ness) But our address is in their database, so they keep turning up every few months to wish us well, hear the latest about my health, and offer help in the form of prayers.. Yeah, right.. Like that's gonna fix anything!! I've nothing against beliefs as such, but it sure as hell wasn't a prayer book that got the damn tumour out of my head. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

GfK	On 'paper' I'm Christian. I didn't have a choice at the time. In reality I'm agnostic. People can believe what they want... but having been force-fed the bible in religious education as a child, I've always questioned the validity of it. Jesus walking on water? No.... he isn't Dynamo. Feeding 5,000 people with five loaves and two fish, then picking up all the crumbs after which filled twelve baskets? They must have been loaves the size of barns and a couple of whales (which I know isn't a fish, before anybody says it). Noah building a boat out of wood, big enough to accommodate two of every species on earth - none of which ate any of the others OR the humans? Despite the logistics challenge of gathering them up? Yeah, right. Basically the bible was written as a work of fiction with an underlying message of living a positive life. Somewhere in translation it's all got taken rather too literally. Like when they played War of the Worlds on the radio once and the Americans thought we were being invaded.

spinal	I'm not a fan of religion, no matter which one it is. Don't get me wrong, most religions seem to have one main rule (which I agree with) - be nice to everyone. However, nobody listens to that advice, especially not religious people. There has been zero evidence of a higher 'creator' so I don't see why people would jump make that kind of thing up rather than simply admit that they don't know and no one else does either. -=-=- Check out my excellent homepage!
