I've still not got an X360.
I was tempted a couple of years back, and there's a few games I'd buy.. Orange Box, Burnout, GTA IV, and a fair few Live download games, too..
But.
That Red Ring of Death's pretty common.

I know 2 people with X360s.
1 person had 1 RROD, sent back, got it returned, flogged it and bought a PS3 instead.
The other person's had 2 RROD's.

So, that's about 150% Death! Not a good percentage! (5% would be good!)

Based on all that nastyness, I still haven't gotten one.
I'd like to, but no thanks!

So, QOTD : What have you really been tempted to buy, but one little thing's put you off..

Earlier today I went out to buy a cheap keyboard for my eee. I found one shop that sold one for around HK$65 from where I bought my headphones. After speaking to the guy there I said I'd come back later and went off to look at other places. I then found another shop selling a keyboard for $75, and when I mentioned the other place the woman there offered it for $65. She said she wouldn't make any money from the sale and she was only doing it to be nice and encourage me to return. I felt a bit guilty but turned her down solely because I had already told the other I was gonna go back.

I also often go to the cheap place for something different with no intention of actually buying anything and the guys there always ask me what I'm after and offer me loads of help and advice. That made me a little guilty about buying the keyboard for the same price elsewhere; that is me asking about about products and then failing to buy something from there yet again.

I was put off buying a drawing tablet for quite a while -- I just wasn't sure if I'd use it much, and didn't want to waste money if that was the case.

I found a nice Wacom Bamboo on Craigslist for 50 dollars, however, and just bought it. The Bamboo that I bought normally retails for 100 plus tax, shipping, and handling.

An Xbox 360 actually. The turnoff wasn't the RROD though, but because we don't yet own a high definition TV and I heard that some games have a few resolution bugs in standard definition.

An Xbox360 here too. Or actually, any console. They run pretty high and I don't have money to burn these days. Oh, and a wireless router, for the same reasons.

I need a new external hard drive (250GB is too small!) but then I realise, I'm not really ever going to watch all four seasons of Monty Python so I deleted it to make room
