Socoder -> Wednesday Workshop

Wednesday Workshop #073 : The Nothing Challenge
Time until Deadline

Week : 1 November 2006
The Reason : I tried to come up with something that would fit Bonfire Night without being about Fire or Fireworks, both of which we've done before. But I couldn't.
So this week's suggestion comes straight from the Future Workshop Suggestions topic. This is TNT's suggestion.

The Challenge : "Nothing challenge would be kinda cool, like not literally nothing, but try to make something of it. Like the character is in an empty room or something like that."

Extra Info
Try to make it fun!

Weekly Rules/How to Enter
You have until Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning 00:00 BST to submit your levels. ^ See Deadline Link! ^

Wed.Workshop is at SoCoder.co.nr. If you can read this, you're already here!

Stick your entry underneith this post. (I'll get round to uploads, sometime, honest!)

If you can't figure it out, or have a really rubbish server, send it to Jayenkai@Gmail.com and I'll stick it straight onto the SoCoder (Official Wed.Workshop) site.

Entries will be collected during the week, and entered into next week's voting. (If there are any entries..)
All entries will be entered into voting which will take place if there's more than one entry..

Please try to keep all entries within small file sizes. 2Mb absolute maximum.
Additional Rules are available at the SoCoder (Official Wed.Workshop) site, under the list of previous workshops.
(Click the Wed.Workshop thing, over on the left!)

Last Week's Games
Two entries? Uhoh! I still haven't coded a poll!

Last week's entries were.
1) PlatGhosts by Jayenkai
2) Ghosts, Pumpkins and Lazers by Magicman

Which one wins, you decide!
By... um...
...

Just name your favourite, and I'll count them up at the end of the week!

Here is my game.

controls:
arrow keys to move along the sides of the screen.
space bar to shoot.
When you want to, deposit the, uh, "magic glob" into the box by pressing enter.

Super Tip #001: I advise you hit enter when above the box because obviously, mgic glob is affected by gravity.

Super Tip #002: yes, the fact you can move along all four walls is questionable as to its use... not enough time spent on it to make some kind of super good tactical advantage of using all the walls.

Hmm.. I started a game, earlier this week, but I couldn't be bothered making a silly tune to go with it, so I didn't bother finishing the game off!

Aw well..
Maybe next week, eh!

Mole wins by default.

Challenge 74 is up and running.
